Tips and troubleshooting¶

“No original database” in the status line.

No plain copy of the original’s database has been chosen. The project’s records still work. Choose one in File → Settings → Database if you want the original’s records.

"Encrypted database error."

You chose the encrypted GordonsReloadingTool.db. Use the decrypted copy (see Section "Using the Original's Database" ).

“Charge too high”.

The charge does not fit into the case behind the bullet. Reduce the charge or increase the seating depth.

A record cannot be edited.

Only your own records can be changed. Make a copy first.

"The pressure is much higher than in the loading manual."

Check the case volume, the powder lot, the seating depth and the bullet data. Try another model and compare. Always trust the manual over the calculation.

The language does not change.

The language change takes effect after a restart.

Something else.

Set the log level to Debug and look at the log file.
